AUTO REPAIR TERMS OF SERVICE
ESTIMATES AND AUTHORIZATION
Written estimates are available upon request prior to repairs being performed. No additional work will be performed without customer authorization. If repairs exceed the estimate by more than ten percent, customer authorization will be obtained before proceeding. Authorization may be given in person, by phone, text, or electronic communication.
LABOR AND PARTS
All repairs are performed using quality parts and professional labor. Labor charges are based on standard labor guides and actual time required. Parts replaced may be new, remanufactured, or used, unless otherwise specified. Replaced parts may be retained by the shop unless the customer requests their return at the time of authorization.
WARRANTY
Warranty coverage, if applicable, applies only to parts and labor specifically stated on the invoice. Warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, accidents, modifications, or failures of related components. Diagnostic fees and labor are not refundable.
PAYMENT TERMS
Payment is due in full upon completion of repairs. Vehicles will not be released until payment is received. Accepted payment methods are determined by the shop. Returned or declined payments may be subject to additional fees.
STORAGE AND ABANDONED VEHICLES
Once repair or service work is completed, customers will be notified by phone, text, or email using the contact information provided at drop-off, and the vehicle will be considered ready for pickup once notification has been sent. Vehicles must be picked up within seven (7) calendar days of service completion. If a vehicle is not picked up within seven (7) days, a storage fee of $45 per day will be applied beginning on the 8th day and will continue to accrue until the vehicle is picked up in full. All storage fees, along with the repair balance, must be paid in full before the vehicle will be released. Vehicles left beyond a reasonable period may be considered abandoned and subject to applicable North Carolina lien and abandoned vehicle laws, and Blue Ridge Tire & Brake reserves the right to pursue all legal remedies available to recover unpaid balances and storage fees. Blue Ridge Tire & Brake is not responsible for loss of or damage to vehicles or personal property while parked on the premises, including damage caused by theft, vandalism, weather, or other causes beyond our control. It is the customer’s responsibility to maintain accurate contact information and arrange timely pickup, and Blue Ridge Tire & Brake is not responsible for delays caused by customer unavailability or failure to respond.
LIABILITY
The shop is not responsible for loss or damage caused by fire, theft, vandalism, weather, or acts beyond its control. The shop is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or failures of parts not replaced or repaired.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Customer affirms they are the legal owner or authorized agent of the vehicle and authorize the shop to operate the vehicle for testing and diagnostic purposes.
DISPUTES
Any disputes related to services performed shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By authorizing repairs, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
